世界に冠たるマンガ大国で、漫画を描きました。
『ターザン』738号のテーマは「血糖値のコントロール」で、弥次さん喜多さんがまんじゅうを食べたときの不健康な副作用について話し合うシーンを担当しました。
Subject of this TARZAN issue is “Blood sugar control” and I was asked to do a scene with Yaji and Kita discussing the unhealthy side effects of eating manjū.
Yaji and Kita are popular Edo-age characters from a road novel, 1802 by JIPPENSYA Ikku (十返舎 一九) .
In his story they where on a pilgrimage to Ise Shrine, but predominantly interested in food, sake, and women leaving a trail of misadventures and hilarious situations.
